As we were forewarned earlier, the city has been engaged in a major project on Delmonico Dr to replace the aging water main and fire hydrants, and then to repair/replace badly weathered, damaged or heaving curbs and sidewalks. Once that work is complete, the city intends to mill and repave virtually all of Delmonico.

  

We recently renewed our contact with Margaret Radford, the Issues Management Consultant that CSU assigned to these projects, for an update on the project schedule. Margaret informed us that the water main replacement is complete, but the contractors are running "a little behind" on the curbs, gutters and sidewalks. 

Therefore, the original schedule for milling and paving to be completed by the end of September has been revised to reflect completion by the end of October.
