The Discovery HOA partnered with the City of Colorado Springs Parks Department and the Golden Hills HOA to plant and maintain the median at the east side of the intersection of Rockrimmon Blvd and Delmonico Dr. Under this arrangement, the Parks Department provides decorative plants in the spring which volunteers from the two HOAs plant and maintain. In the summer, this includes infrequent weeding as needed, and in the fall, removal of annuals and trimming of perennials.  

If you enjoy gardening -- or would just like to help out -- volunteers are always welcome. 

This year, we will perform our "Spring Transformation" of the median starting at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 18, and lasting no longer than 2 hours.

If you are willing to participate, please RSVP by e-mail to indicating that you may be available.

Plan to bring your garden/work gloves and favorite trowel and join us. This is a great way to meet your neighbors and contribute to the beauty of our neighborhood.
